How did you end up figuring out the pulse widths?  Was Scott any help?

Scott?? no I did not hear from Scott ,I found several sources and spent the W/E slaving over a hot calculator , the map was good enough to start and run the engine ,next its dyno time to improve it , anyway thanks for your help  :-D

I will yell at him. LOL - Good to hear it is running.  When you get a good map send a screen shot my way.  Good Luck on this one.

Spent yesterday at the dyno , fuel maps are sorted ,it idles reasonably well ,the turbo works well maybe to well as I found the first weak link , the clutch ,I now know how much torque a stock clutch with a barnett heavy duty kit can hold before it slips and I also now know that when it slips at peak torque the turbo is free to make full boost ( big spike ) blowing the head gasket , over pressureising the cooling system in turn blowing water hoses and pressure caps
all was well up to 12 psi , tried one run at 15 psi and there was a drop off in the power curve at peak torque ,thought it was maybe the tire sliping , adjusted the tie downs and upped the boost to 18 psi and the above was the result , well back to the drawing board , anyone know if they make a lock up for an old ninja 1000?
Hey Joe Amo please pm me as all my emails to yo are being bounced back

Good going Gary.  It might be better to have the problem that you can make too much HP and just have to throttle it back than the other way around.  Pretty impressive what you have accomplished,

This is the finished product , I added a ZX11 lock up clutch ,but have postponed further dyno testing / tuning untill we can race again , the old girl is now as low and narrow as I can make it and with the new body hopefully a little more aerodynamic , I will now finish off the busa and hope I can race them before they rust away

cheers

"It's funny how everybody notices something different in the pics."

Geezs I was thinking the same thing---I wanted the rotate the turbo 90 degs. Put the  intake over the front fender, between the forks--run the exhaust out the bottom, one on either side of rear wheel and the nitrous bottle in front and almost over of the tire and under the fender---please forgive me for opening my mouth---for I have not seen your GEORGEOUS BIKE in person.

AERO is everything!!!!!!!!!!!
