Joe Roberts took a BUNCH of shots, but I don't know exactly what he captured.  I'm not sure how to get ahold of Joe.  Mark A. got some, too, but I think they were mostly at the start line.  Anyone else?  I have a few, but they are all cars.

You two had a GREAT season!  Congrats, and I'll see y'all in the Spring.

Get ahold of Don Smith(goes by rotts4u on the SH.org area)... his camera and abilities far surpass many that have been paid to do the same at Maxton. He got the following shot coming into the traps(heavily cropped & reduced for posting here) of Deb this last meet(not at a 90*, but still very usable).

Hey, Todd -- that's a fine photo, and shows something that we all might do well to notice:  The lanyard curly-cord is shown flying in the breeze.  If the plug/switch to which that cord is attached is at all marginal -- a flapping cord could inadvertently cut the motor off during a run.  I've had it happen -- so remounted the entire safety switch to a different location and moved the point at which the lanyard attaches to my gloves, too.

It's embarrassing to be going down the course and have the motor shut off for no apparent reason. . .and then to discover it was the plug.  It's worse when the rider has waited in line for hours to make the run. . .

That's a really nice photo. It looks like my new leathers are accomplishing their mission well, no more wildly flapping shoulder and elbow armor!  grin

Thanks Todd!

Thanks! I've got a long way to go, but losing weight (amongst other things) has helped...
