It was nice to be out at El Mirage when the temperature cooperated. 87 for the high with a nice breeze that kicked up at times.

It was noted over the PA system that there are only 33 pre-entries for the World Finals and they are in jeopardy of being canceled.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Well lets just kick this rumor in the butt, I just spoke to an SCTA-BNI official to get the real story on this.
IF all they have  is 33 entries they WILL have the meet.
Second, what they didn't tell you is that Today and Tuesday is the big mail day for pre-entries. Right now as we speak, without TODAYS mail, they have over 40 entries.
And there are many who just register on site at the event, I know of at least 10 bikes going with no pre-entry.

The date for the finals is certainly a high risk for conditions.
It has ranged from shirt sleeve to snow.
That is a big reason the pre-entries are perhaps lacking.
When SCTA was more concerned about profit, they cancelled with 65 pre-entries.
A number of concerned racers put together a test and tune that was also FIA sanctioned in just a few days.
Real racers want to really race, and they deserve your support.
