Salt condition
« on: August 30, 2007, 02:37:47 PM »
I just got off the phone with Denis we have 8 good miles of salt and the last two miles are drying. He had more than one mile surveyed  so he can move to a ten mile cores if it dries.

The best of luck to you guys.  I sure hope you get a good course to run on.  It will be interesting to see what happens if they can't get the 11 mile international course.  Will they run a 9 mile with maybe an extra 1/2 mile on both ends?  The way I see it an international course has to be an odd number of miles to get the same physical mile in the middle.

I thought I might make this meet, but I think I need to work on my car and save my money for World Finals.  I'll miss it as it was a highlight last year.

c ya,

Sum

It seems to me that last years BUB meet provided as much or more coverage on B'ville
than anything but Worlds Fastest Injun.
The difference is that BUB was an actual happening and Injun was a movie
with the same setting but a different result.
It was also the most amazing event since Arfons and Breedlove duked it out years
ago.
Of course the presentation, on the DVD, captured every moment and all the  feeling
that happened. That may have influenced my statement.
Go for it you 2 wheel wonders.

Freud,

Bub event had over 300 entries by Monday AM and more signing up.  I am sure they had double the entries of last year.
