The results information is being put together by SCTA. Apparently their interest in this results posting is as a summary after the event rather than an update. I don't think this is on the priority list, as they have many other things to do. After all... their responsibilities are to the racers at Bonneville and not those of us who couldn't make it. I am sure they would want to give an indepth reporting, but time may not allow.  You'd think that as the runs were made and listed in the timing stand, they would have software that would list it and then upload periodically...  it looks like a full time job.

Maybe when Glen gets back we can bring this up again and see what could be done.

I understand the problem.  I just wish I could find out how some of the guys are running.  I do not want to be caught here at home again.

It looks like the wind has come up again.

In years past it was updated nightly or at least the next day.  It looks like they are trying to do the same this year but may be struggling with the new webpage?  pictures are posted, there were results there so we can keep our fingers crossed.  Wish I was there as well but I check for updates for my fix.

Jon and Keilani,

Thanks so much for the daily updates. I was planning on attending Speedweek this year again.  had everything planned out and was ready to leave but, an unexpected hospital visit prevented me from making it.  You two have made it much more bearable and you do a GREAT job of keeping things up to date as always.

much thanks,
Pat Halsey

PS Jon I think you should stick to running the bike. Keilani's reporting is much more entertaining.... grin

All the data is up on the SCTA page this morning.  It gives all the runs and the record runs.  This is great stuff and I sure am glad that someone took the time to post it all.

I can see from the data that several cars have had a lot of trouble.

Hooley is to put the motor back together on the #974 today and he should be able to make a pass tomorrow.  He went 230 MPH on a check out pass Saturday morning.  If the motor goes back together good, it looks like he should bump his record up some.

"Got'Cha" was first run in 1974. Bill Temple entered both 2 clubs in 1976 with records in AA/BGR. At El Mirage 201.79 and Bonneville at 220.

In 1977 Greg Temple started driving "Got'Cha" and entered the El Mirage Dirty 2 club in 1979 @ 201.97. Greg went on to set two records at Bonneville, one in 1981 at 241.848, then in 1991 he set another record at 262.230

Bill and Greg were the first father and son to enter the El Mirage Dirty 2 club. They broke the D/BFR at Bonneville in 1981 @ 241 with top speed of 249. This record still stands today. In 1991 they set the A/BFR @ 262 which was later broke by Duane McKinney.

wz JUNK,  I say Hoolie in  impound this morning when we were tearing down our pits. I made 2 passes and 1 aborted run. Dropped a valve, going home broken again. We are in Evanston WY this evening. Going home and work on the engine, will try and make WOS. Cya
