« on: July 15, 2007, 09:05:41 PM »
It was hot at El Mirage today, when I left my truck said it was 104 degrees. Lots of cool cars and bikes as always. Here are some of the pics I took today, I hope you enjoy them!

Scott

I think this bike did 160 this morning.

This car wasn't racing but I thought it was a cool ride.

Bob Morelands car broke another record and went 168

John Noonan went 235 on his new Busa

First side car over 200. Congrats John, Nice job on two runs today and two records!

My friend Randy Smith on his custom BMW

Randy Nelson from MDR

The low red thing resembling a bike looks familiar, it's in the profile of somebody here, right?

Second photo is beautiful, but almost looks like he's riding on water.  I suppose if you go fast enough it's possible ;)

Great photo's

P.S.  Congrats to John on the records!  That smile may be there for a few days.

Nice job to Scott Horner for a 206.7 record in the A/BG 1350 class.  If you are on this list please contact me so I can get some info and pics for www.Naked200MPH.com  I need info from a lot of people for the site(site is kind of half ass, right now).  I would have it done if I had everything all together.  If anyone else has pics or info please email me, there is an email link on the site.  Naked count is up to 18.

Congratulations Scott!!!!!!

Hey! What do you mean "resembling a bike"? Just because it's a tad low and long, it's still a bike. Still working out the bugs. Ran 108 after discovering the starter was broken and getting it welded. Thanks Callaway!
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Was his bike the red/marroon Busa?? I was trying to get a picture of it but there were a few people standing around it and I later saw it in tech.

Hey, if it's got two wheels it's a bike of some sort  :-D

"a tad low," it looks to be scraping the ground!

What's the engine pushing this clever machine?
Do you have any photos of it in action?  I'm not sure I'm imaginative enough to picture how one sits on it!

The engine is a Yamaha TZ250 water-cooled V-twin. "Sits" isn't the word, "lay down" is. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.
