I have a 35 Ford. Can I run it without hood side panels? The book uses a 28 Ford as an example of being OK without side panels.
I wish I had found this site earlier.

Im not sure about the rule, but Dan Warner is a great source for a yes or no and frequents the site, but you may not get an answer from him until Monday, since he is at El Mirage this weekend...
Any pictures you could post of it??

Here is a photo drag racing this year at Speedworld at the1320 invitational.
If you look at the exhaust you can see why I need to run without side panels
