FRED,

Thats one cool ride,,, I love it, so slim and low to ground, it looks like anyways...
Would love to take that for a ride down the salt,,, the work on it makes mine look like dog poo...

And please post what delvene tells you about the front wheel... That is what makes this board so good...

Jon

Krugger I saw your bike at the custom chrome show last year in Germany (I was a judge and voted for it!) I always enjoy your bikes, they are always unique and very nicely built . I look forward to seeing you on the salt.

I met Fred at Goodwood Festival of Speed, and his bike is very SPECIAL. The build quality is painstakingly superb, with every detail taken into account during the build. The video shows that it goes as well as it looks. I think Fred has made a fantastic machine, and wish him all the best at Bonneville. My brother and I will pop over to see him in Belgium as soon as we can. Regards, Gabriel.

Great video, looks good, but Kent has issued a good warning, you will probably want to take it apart and clean it BEFORE you ship it back unless you want that patina the salt gives everything.
Looks like you need a straighter, longer road, Bonneville is definitely that.  See you on the salt  8-)

a very big thanks to everybody to  your support!!

To Gabriel Uttley: you are welcome in my workshop in Belgium(five minutes to the Spa Francorchamps Formula 1 race track)!

About the salt on my bike,if a bike is too clean ,it lose the soul....

No stress to clean it ,the "Goodwood "will be show at Artistry in Iron(Vegas ,end of september) and stay the winter in US to ride at Daytona bike week(March 2008)

When i will be on the salt flat ,that will be great to give me a smal hello!!!

That will be a very good souvenir, speed ,mecanics, sun ,girls and ..... wedding (of Brian Klock and Laura,2 september during the meeting!!!!)

Yeah he might as well sell it to me for a couple hundred bucks after the event..... Or ill trade you and give you a ride to the airport... :)... Ok since your a out of country guy, Ill give you a couple hundred bucks and a ride to the airport... I mean the salt is going to rust it out before you get home anyways... Right.

"Do you think that I will aspired a lot of salt on the engine?  Need to put a front fender?"

The chances are very good that some salt will be thrown forward off the front tire, and some of that salt will undoubtedly end up in the air and on the front of the bike.  Since your air intake horn is up front -- yes, you will have salt getting into the air intake.

I don't know if a "stock" front fender will solve the problem, since coverage is commonly not all the way down the front of the tire.  The rules allow the fender to extend as far down as the centerline of the front axle -- so such a fender should reduce, if not eliminate the problem.  Several race bikes have fenders that cover all the (legal) way down  -- for instance:  This might need a bit of cutting on the front/bottom, but you get the idea. . .

Good luck.
