So THAT's what it looked like on Saturday with sun!  Looks like we missed a very nice, if hot, day that day.  I still enjoyed the hell out of myself on Sunday (save the part where I went just plain slow).  There didn't happen to be any pics of an orange BMW, did there?

Man, who's that guy on the Honda cb750 in those photos?  He must be pretty cool......  I guess the guy who brought the orange R90S is all right, too.

All kidding aside, thanks to everyone for helping us newbies out Sunday.  It was a great first experience for both of us and it made the ride down from, and back to, Indiana completely worthwhile.  It's safe to say we're both hooked now and will see at least some of you at Bonneville in September!

I happened to be at the right spot to welcome the guys on the old Honda and BMW as they arrived, on their bikes, from Indiana! They drove to Maxton to try out LSR before going to Bonneville. They went through tech and did several passes and then headed back home. Very nice guys and probably still a little bow legged from all the hours on their bikes.  The weekend was hot, but full of excitement like off track excursions with a 1000HP car, Speed film crew running around trying to shoot everything going on, the "blue flame" Mustang providing a light and smoke show while waiting in the start lanes,(and Al running to the rescue), a hour long kitty litter shuffle by twenty volunteers, and "Trillium's Boyfriend" becoming "Mr. Naked".
What a great weekend!
David
