Trillium Muir: First woman on an open bike in a 200 club!!
« on: June 23, 2007, 01:29:13 PM »
Trillium Muir Riding her RCC Turboed Suzuki Hayabusa became the first woman in History to enter in to an official 200 mph club on an open bike, this was done just minutes ago in Laurinburg North Carolina at the June meet of the ECTA time trials.

Trillium's record speed is 207.4 mph and was done in the MBF-1650-4 class so no forward streamlining was on the bike making this run truly spectacular!

Congrats to Trilly and her man Jody as they have worked hard to make it happen.

Jody giver her a hug for me!!

You might want to read the original post that is titled "Maxton Update" and see if you see a difference.

Asphalt in the length required is going to be a public roadway.
The limited width and the crown designed to promote drainage are just a couple of the usual faults.
Their is 17k feet of wide, groomed concrete out west that is available and is in the future.
Universal adoption of a performance standard that can be duplicated Worldwide will settle the question.

Trillium's still FAR better looking, so don't let the speed go to yer head, Jodie.

Great story - I was standing at the start line waiting, and someone asked Trill why Jodie was faster, given that she's smaller and lighter.  In her sweet little Canadian accent she gave several reasons, and finished up by saying, "Besides, he's got bigger balls".   Coming out of that pretty little mouth, well, it just cracked me up!
