i was thinking of converting my old drag car into a land speed car,but cd
is about .50 not to good
decided to build a new a 1990 plymouth laser has a cd of .29 much better
what i need to know is if everyone thinks this is a good chassis to use

ummm not really... mild steel at 143 wall is good but the .085 wall cm is to thin for scta. the funny car head support will be good to snap your neck when the car hits a 5g impact on the rh side. i would like to see more tubing on the drivers right.

Kent, i was planning on going with dom tubing because of the work hardening issues with the
chrome molly tubing
also don't like the way the funny car cage is but that's easy enough to fix
i like the all round tube chassis i don't think it flex as bad as the square tubing and
it's lighter so i can add ballast where its best needed
just my rambling thinking
