Speed week pre-entry
« on: May 14, 2007, 12:15:17 PM »
Just in case you weren't paying attention... The 2007 speed week pre-entry is to be postmarked no later than tomorrow May 15th. After that the entry will cost you an extra $200. Don't forget to fill out the med form and include your BNI membership.

I sent mine in today.  Was the med form supposed to go with the speedweek registration?  Yikes.

I tried to call SCTA for clarification to some questions I have -  (check? credit card?  what about 2 drivers and 1 car?  is that 1 entry?  Is BNI membership different from SCTA -  and if so -  how much?

anyway -  I get an answering machine -  saying they are out of the office until today -  and the machine is full -  not taking any new messages.

last minute -  thats my middle name!

carl entry is for 1 vehicle.. you can have alternate drivers but both have to be scta or bni members in good standing. also all people on the "entry name" need to be scta or bni members. if you forgot your med form wait to be called and then make arangements to fax the info, that way they dont get confused. speaking from experiance of course!

Mailed mine off today :-D  (with med form, even photo copied ECTA, BNI, & State drivers Lic)
Hope that pics on a CD was what they wanted for sending in a picture of the bike.  I haven't seen a real picture on paper in years.
Any way....hope to meet you all in person.

Uh Oh. I took it they would check the names against membership rolls. That's the way I read it anyway. I guess I'm in the same boat. So, now I'll wait for the calls to begin.... Boy, I'm glad I'm not doing registration... :-o

Got my approved entry back today: no request for med form (but a blank one included) or BNI membership (is the right hand talking to the left hand this year?  :-D )

At the El Mirage drivers meeting they announced that there were something like (don't hold me to this exact number) 510 pre-entries, the largest ever.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

:-D Sooo, if there is a chance of a third track.... will it be just for bikes :-D
If there is a space problem they can make the bike track narrow,  I don't take up much room

i counted 24 car and 3 bike liners....and yes it took more than one hand to do it. I also so the 444 Vesco liner and several diesel liners. also looks like the new Costella 350cc liner will be there... its gonna be cool
