That "GITUP" might get you arrested outside of SFO or Vegas.
It is best you wear your Purple Silk robe over it and not the Pink one.
I will be standing on the corner and point you in the right direction.

836...If you can get from Adelanto to the lake bed in 15 minutes and from Victorville in 30 minutes your race car has a much larger fuel tank than mine. Better springs too for the road.....J.D.

The timing is right, what end of the lake bed seems to be misunderstood.
It takes 15  to just go from 1 end to the other unless you are going too fast and get yelled at.

If you think it's hard to find the lake bed you should try it at night. Then it becomes a real adventure. :-D :-o

The Pink Robe is only authorized for use in Utah, the land of multiple wives if you have them.
Remember you only have the robe.

Any one wanting more then one wife is on the waiting list for a nut house. And if Kaz wants to wear a green monkey suit on the lake bed he should remember some of the locals think it's open season year around and will shoot for sport. :?

You can see the map and the instructions on the SCTA site.  On the map you can see the roads that are named in the instructions.

Just get out there a ways and wait for someone hauling a race car and follow it.  If you see a purple pickup with flames and a teardrop trailer behind it going back and forth up and down one of those roads don't follow it.  That would be me as lost as you ,

The times mentioned were to the lakebed turn off @ the SCTA sign. The paved road even with speed bumps is a great improvement.

Yeah, and if you are coming from the Victorville side, the section of El Mirage road when you first turn on to it might be the worst road in the USA. It's where the amateur road patching crew works.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

I thought that the road was where they trained the Minnesota Highway Department for spring patch work. That road is smoother than some stretches of the interstate in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Hey Kaz, I certainly hope you find your way to El Mirage this weekend..........but remember one BIG thing..........if your leathers are "Rossi leathers"
they are no legal for racing with SCTA........in fact if Rossi himself showed up this weekend to race his Yam. neither his bike....his helmet, or his leathers would  be legal.
