"show unread posts since last visit" doesn't work

It worked when I was here last night -- but now, when I click "show unread..." I get a "No New stuff since last visit" message, even though there ARE new posts.  Is it me -- is it the system -- or are you folks trying to tell me you don't want me to read what you're saying?

Hey, you folks are so nice.  You've fixed my computer for me -- it works okay now.

So well that I've used it to get a new customer today -- and to get an existing customer to do some other business with us.  And Beth is looking fine, too -- not that she's running my computer -- just thought I'd tell you.

     FWIW, I have had same problem at random times in the past.  It would self correct [if I fixed it, don't know what or how - don't claim any 'puter skills].  When it happens I just use the highlighted boxes and click on the new stuff that way.

No, Jack, Beth doesn't use the iMac.  She's got one of those Wintel machines at her desk.  I'm the lucky one that gets the Apple computer.

As for showing judgment -- she accepted a job working for me, and that speaks for itself, doesn't it?  By the way, I haven't seen a photo of her anyplace on the net.  Beth's of Croation descent, I think -- last name has lots of consonants and a "y".  As for a "Swede" -- well, I dunno.  Nancy sure isn't of the Swedish persuasion, but photos of her have been available on-line.  Ask John - Speed Limit 1K.  He won't share it with you -- but he's seen one...

Thanks, Tort.  I appreciate the correction.  As for you, Jack -- I've got a couple of photos of me and the helicopter.  Unfortunately none of the shots taken from the chopper ever saw the light of day -- but Nancy and I did get to see them in the photo trailer that day.  On the wall at the house is a nice candid shot that Nancy took of me, bike, and yellow 'copter.  Nice photo, fun memories.
