Maxton Pictures
« on: April 01, 2007, 12:52:19 PM »
For those of you not on the email list.

Got back from Maxton late last night. Went as a
spectator on this trip. The meet was crowded, a lot of
entries. I had a blast! Met a lot of very nice
people. Too many kind people to mention everyone -
Ray Kimbro and ECTA Mike were great ambasadors of the
organization. The two teams that were running
mini-pickups offered a fountain of information for my
effort. Hopefully we can get it together for the next
meet. I couldn't tell you exact speeds. I was too
busy soaking it all in. Viper was I believe around 220 IIRC, couple of
cars in the 180's - 200. Karmen Ghia in the upper 130's
with 1500CC motor. - Couple of bikes over 200. Ali,
local guy to me went 187 on a naked 1200 (new record).
Below is a link to photo's - The pic's through the
trap are a little fuzzy - Shutter speed on my digital
is not that great. Took them more for those that ran
than others - The drivers might want at least a blurry
copy. If anyone wants full size files of any of the
pictures let me know and I will email them out.

Fixed the link to the pictures - Don't know why it didn't copy right.
