I have been looking through the FIM rule book to find some category for a new (or maybe not) concept vehicle ,the only category that may be usable is category 2 group D,but there is nothing covering it except one small paragraph which states "Appendices governing this class to be issued as each case is presented ' this is not the Jet/rocket class ??? if not who and how does one present a case to ? anyone

My reply got trashed when Jon had 'puter problems.  Did you read it?

Charles Hennekam of the CSI (sporting commission), at the Swiss home of the FIM, will do his best to sort out what you may propose as rules.

Worked back in '97 and '98 for the non wheeldriven two wheeler streamliner that Richard Brown wanted to run.

it also helps to use your National motorcycling group, that is affiliated to the FIM, to get the rules adopted at home before the push on to the world stage.  Here in the UK, the Auto Cycle Union got to see some of the jet/rocket bike test days before making up their minds - build the machine then write a set of rules ........
