Amo's Kid win State Title
« on: March 25, 2007, 11:44:28 PM »
Many of you who have been to the salt know how the "Amo Family" comes in numbers. Been a family event since 1992. Joe and Judies kids have been there since they were born, Aero and Kyaera. Aero, named after aerodynamics, took first place in the State AAU wrestling tournament in Rapid City.

This kid has earned it, only 11 years old, he runs an average of 5 miles a day for conditioning, and for fun. Active weight lifter also since he was many years younger then 11.

You could also call him a "salt veteran" been there since he was 5 days old, and every year since.

Way to go Aero!!
Tell your uncle Jon that your name should not show up in yellow.
Congratulations on a great accomplishment.  Hopefully your dad will let you log in and see these posts.
I'm planning on winning my money back this year...

Congratulations to Aero.
Such a great committment and accomplishment for one so young.  Years ago, I wrestled, then son Jim did, and when he went off to college, I refereed HS wrestling for a number of years.  I am a real fan of amauter wrestling.

Joe, you must be very proud.

I know how much Aero adds to my B'ville experiences. Joe and Judie go to th 2 Club banquet and the kids go with me for the evening. I expand their experiences beyond normal family events. Well I tell Joe and Judie that I am getting them ready for life on their own.
It's a great night for all of us.So far there has never been an AMBER Alert while we are away from the motel.
Of course, 2007 hasn't happened yet, either.
Congratulations, Aero and "good results in Detroit."
Kyaera, don't be too tough on him.

Congrats,Aero and Joe. I know how much fun it was when my son was involved in wrestling. Great sport and great bonding times with your kid. So on to Western Regionals and then Nationals?? Freestyle or Greco? Those are awful nice medals--my son had one, best year was 1st greco,3rd freestyle. Man,I miss it.
Bonneville 2001,2002,2003,2004,and NO stinking 2005,DLRA 2006, next?
Well, sure can't complain about 2008--6 records over 200 and 5 hats from Bonneville,Bubs, and El Mirage for the team!

Loosely?? This is information about a Salt Veteran, if fact, I suspect he currently has a higher percentage of his life spent at the salt than anyone...
Or is that another thread???
Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

I'm wondering how Aero will handle the "show and tell" fotos of SSS at work
in the Green Rooms?
I'll help him take them.
