Need a favor - E-mail me scan of Rule
« on: February 09, 2007, 10:54:02 AM »
Guyd -  I left my rule book at home 50 miles away -  I need to e-mail my rollcage designer the rules pertaining to roll cage design.  can anyone make a scan of the page or 2 and get it to me?

I already have the 2007 changes -  but I can't get the 2006 rules in my hot little hands!

Before the rest of you get ready to give me a ration of sh*t, no, I don't intend to scan in and post the entire rulebook.

Just thought I'd try to avoid the brickbats that you're readying for me.

You move portapotties around and you don't expect a ration of sh*t?

Slim/Jon
Marquette, Michigan sure sounds familiar, seems I've visited UP there, I think I saw ice cubes larger than my living room stacked up on the beach.  Isn't that where KI Sewer on the Souix AFB was located?
Personally I think the first 200 pages should be on line, don't worry SCTA, people would still want copies in print...

Stainless:

K I Sawyer (Yeah, I know what you were trying to say) closed up about ten years ago, taking with it a nice 14,000-foot runway.  They didn't "officially" close the runway, though, so we never got to play with it.  Now it's been shortened to "only" about 12 1/2k feet -- and the county airport uses the base, now renamed "Marquette County International Airport".  International?  Well, yeah -- if you come in from out-of-county you are supposed to call ahead and ask them to call the customs agent, who'll get out of bed and drive down to the airport to look at your passport.

Sioux AFB?  Well, there was Kincheloe AFB not too far south of Sault Ste. Marie (Soo, michigan, is how we pronounce it up here), and maybe that's what you meant, but that place has been closed down even longer than KISAFB.  Chippewa County now runs it as their airport.

PS  Carl, I chose not to dignify your comment with a response.  But thanks for thinking of me...

Nancy and I used to live on the beach, and we look out the front window and see ice cubes bigger than some smaller states.  This year's a mild winter -- the ice only extends about 20-70 feet from shore today.

Carl, don't let the upsidedown attitude get you.  Hey, we had to explain to some on this list about why they needed a "710" cap on their motor.

You've got one, don't you?
