Donovan 4 cylinder blocks
« on: December 07, 2006, 06:20:35 PM »
Glen mentioned the Donovan 4 cylinder blocks in another thread ( French Flatheads.).. Not wanting to bend that thread I'll ask my question here.
Where can I get more info about these blocks? Are they in production, and or available to mortal men?

 Thanks... Smitty

As far as I know they are still available from Donovan Engineering in Torrance California. They are nice blocks.

Wow! Just checked those out... They are beautiful pieces of aluminum, but I'm pretty sure they are well beyond my budget... still would love to use one in my roadster project. Since they are not allowed in vintage I guess I will keep searching.
But thanks for the direction guys!

Get your Donovan and run heads up on a cubic inch basis. Because an engine is not allowed in certain classes, V4 & V4F for instance, does not mean it cannot be used elsewhere.
