If I remember correctly, he said he used his girlfriend for the mold.

I hope he used one of his younger girlfriends.

Years ago two beautiful young girls with bikinis and riding 3 wheelers came into our pits for shade :-D

Pretty sure they were with Colani, our wifes showed up [dang] and were not happy.  The babes split.

Have fun  :-)  https://www.fia.com/fia-world-land-speed-records  Everything anyone would want to know about FIA land speed records and the rules, is just a click away. Fourteen Appendices of the Sporting Code and Four PDFs worth of Standing Start and Flying Start Records.

It has the current records, but not the history of each record.  Not too helpful in this case. I have been given no reason to believe the car set any record.

If you really need to know if it set a record or not, contact the FIA and ask.

The Blower in the yellow car sat on the floor where the passenger seat had been. Strasburg's were the caretakers while the cars were in the US.

There is a Bonneville 200 MPH sticker on the nose of the car, so I'm guessing it set a record.......
