Watched Amir and Kenny run back in the day and it was a mighty impressive machine.
Being the current high bidder  :-D
I wonder what it would take exactly to make this fine 'liner competitive again?
(I know, I know, all it takes is money - but perhaps one of the former team members is on this site and can enlighten us?)

In 2011 on a trip from Australia we spent some time with Amir when they wern,t having a good Speedweek .

He  had a box of spare class decals and when i asked he gave me the AA/BGS  decal as that engine was broke , he signed and wrote the  408 speed on it

I framed this with a photo of the liner and added it to our yearlly DLRA auction at which it raised about $250 .

Was that originally the Roy/Karl Fjastad liner?

Yeah it was a surprise to us when it first turned up but we figured somebody would eventually build another tandem front end liner. It was yellow then with a BBC if I remember correctly but they didn't run it very long.

Didn't Paul Lattier have a very similar looking car with 2 500 inch Cads. Bert he still has it. And the NT3 car has inline front wheels. That's about the only thing that is like Al's car.

Buyer Beware??

I'm not trying to cause problems, but Amir Rosenbaum lost a 7.3 million dollar lawsuit with K & N Air
Filters in 2011 with Amir declaring bankruptcy in November 2012. I'm not aware if this streamliner was involved in these proceedings in anyway. But I did hear some time back the reason this liner has been stored away for so long was because of this litigation.

I only got a quick look at it one time but it did have the wheels in line & was rigid where Betsy was staggered & suspended.

Sid, how did Amir race it as a four wheel car if front wheels were not staggered? I thought all four tires had to make four discernible tracks to be a car?

Buyer Beware??

Disclamer: Do your own research as this is what I remember.

Some years ago I remember reading some legal papers online about the bankruptcy. In all the paperwork there was a list of all the items not included. The Streamliner along with many cars and trailers were excluded from the bankruptcy, on the paperwork I read.
But I do not remember if this was the final draft and signed or not. I am sure that document is still out in cyber-land somewhere for anyone to read if they want to.

Last time i saw the car it was at Performance Fab. I thought maybe they had a lien on it.
