It's my understanding that the project fell apart years ago with a falling out between Ray & Doug. He has also inherited Chet's share of the Herbert-Steen 4 engine liner as has Clayton Steen & they both inherited the partnership fail from their fathers leaving Big Bertha destined to never move again.

You could say it's moving forward again now.

Here's a selfie of Doug with recent visitors Donnie "Hood" Stringfellow & Don Stringfellow Sr.  8-)

It's good to hear it's coming alive again, you just can't have too many big liners! :-)

I e-mailed Doug with the address that desotoman provided and he got right back with me saying that they have about 700 man hours of work left for the car to be ready, so that's good news!  :-D :-D :-D
