NASCAR parts:
« on: March 08, 2020, 08:11:46 PM »
Just read a bit about the 2021 NASCAR new cars and boy there are going to be lots of surplus NASCAR parts available next year! Basically everything that they run today, except the engines, will be gone! So lots of high tech 4 speeds and gear sets, $10,000 9 inch gears and carriers, 15 inch wheels, and complete cars if you like them. If you happen to be a NASCAR fan next year is going to be extremely interesting!

How are they at running through a couple of inches of salt water with chuck holes and ruts added?

The spliter should make a great snow-plow water-plow

Another plus is that you can turn left at 200 mph

Seriously, the clutch-less shifting four speed should be dyno-mite. On a door-slammer the 15x9.5 NASCAR wheels  could work with the Goodyear 2934 28.0x10.0 LSR tire.

An off-the-wall thought, maybe a SCTA NASCAR-car-of-the-future class. It should be an inexpensive car to set-up.
