Data, not opinion.  I've checked around a bit since Michigan legalised pot for recreation as well as medical use.

The going "street" price for an eighth of an ounce (about 3 1/2 grams) of good quality pot has been about $50 ( no tax, of course) for a few years.  We have two stores open and two more coming in a few months.  The two existing stores are selling 3.5 g of tested and certified and guaranteed quality for about $25 including sales and pot tax -- and that's before discounts for having a med card or other reasons, so that eighth ends up costing a bit less than $24.

And everyone thought that legal pot was going to cost more than black market. HaH! :clap

Woody, I am comfortable when I say this:  I'm confident that you're wrong.  Ask me a year from now to report on how it's going up here.  Covid-19 has been pretty minimal up here - we're just not all that much like the populated parts of the country. :clap :clap

Our state started reopening but I'm still staying home and not gonna risk it. I still have of cars to repair in my garage anyways.

This is a link to an article about today in Oregon.  The lockdown started to ease in parts of the state on the 15th.  It looks like a cluster of cases happened at a business.  We are in the Salem area with the high 4.2 infections per 10,000 people.  My daughter that works at the hospital said we should be extra careful.  The "easing up" phase is no time to ease-up, she says.

That sounds like excellent advice.

This is an interesting way to look at the virus statistics.  There is a list of different countries.  Clicking on the "Read More" option will bring up a graph.  It looks like the US is past the peak.

Spring Carlisle promoters defied the gubmint and won. Looks like the event is a success for the good guys.
