I only ran the short course at a low speed, but I found it to be quite good if a wee bit soft and slightly rutted. My bike has a suspension and I didn't really notice the ruts much. Not sure what the rigid frame guys thought. I guess the long course got pretty squishy starting at about the timed mile exit. Hiro Koiso hit a rut the first day and went down at about 200. Got busted up pretty good, broken hand and a shoulder injury.

The course improved every day and by the last day Erin Sills got a record, as did the Mobitech team with their electric APS bike. There were quite a few other records too. With a little luck and no rain it could be very nice conditions for WOS.

Hi Chris, great to hang out with you this year. If my record had to be bumped this year I'm glad you are the guy who did it!
