Schedule of events

Hey Guys,

1st time racer here!  We're planning to be at the bend Friday afternoon to get our camp setup.  A couple of questions as I couldn't find these details:
- When is the car show/gathering at the Nugget?
- When can we grab our spot in the pits?
- Does tech start Saturday morning?

Tech Sat. morn  , Nugget  afternoon / evening , pit set up Sat .  don't be in a hurry except when on the track .   Have a great time ..   STEVE , I'll be in car inspect . Sat. / Sun.

I work in a hectic job, have a hectic life with hectic kids.  Its going to be hard to slow down, and I thank you very much for the advice. I'll do my best to slow the heck down.

"slow is fast, slow is fast...."  LOL

Depending on when you get there Friday, you may be able to go right on the salt.

Pits open for Set up THURSDAY at 7 AM
Inspection starts on THURSDAY at 10 AM

Pits open for Set up FRIDAY at 7 AM
Inspection starts on FRIDAY at 8 AM
Inspection & registration closes at 5 PM
Salt Closes at 8 PM

Pits open for Set up SATURDAY at 6:30 AM
Drivers Meeting at 9:00 AM
Rookie Orientation to follow
Racing starts at 10 AM-ish

They do rookie orientation daily,correct?Going to put my son in the car this year

Yes rookie orientation is done the first few days.  Through Tues? 

When you go through tech, make sure to read each and every word on the back of the manilla envelope you'll be handed with registration info.  It details the entire entry procedure, and its easy to miss.
