Are pit passes available for non competitors ?

Well, yes, sorta.  That is -- there is no fee or pass to get into the pits.  You must go to registration and get a visitor wrist band and that's it.

Don't forget, though, that the pits are full of racers that might just spy a likely looking visitor as he walks past and shout out "Hey, would you come help me for a minute?" :cheers: :cheers:

I've been that likely looking visitor, have helped some teams, and cherish the memories. I've never been asked to drive though...

I have been notified that I might be incorrect about the free pass.  There is a nominal fee (5 or 10 bucks, I think) to get the wrist band.  Ooops. :roll:

The last 2 years wristbands were $5, plus the week pass button was $50 at the end of the road.  Much cheaper than any other racing venue - by far. 
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. 
Racing is the evil modification of insanity.
