Thanks for the input. Terry I'll probably be asking a lot more questions as I get further into the build. Right now my motor is in my 84 GMC. I'm putting a new crate motor in my fullsize truck and the motor thats in it now is going into my S-10. I have to do a "gasket" rebuild and put in a new cam. I'm driving the S-10 right now for work. I repair copiers so my future landspeed truck is a service truck. I have it lowered 4" in front and 3" in back.  I'm getting the rule book as soon as my wife lets me have more money. I'm building a 53 F-100 the fullsize GMC and this S-10, so my wife is getting a little more wise to my spending habits.

This is my future land speed truck. I'm only doing the mechanical work to it. I plan on leaving it this way through its racing career.

Quote from: bbb
hot rod mag event is march 31/april 1 then?

Correct, according to the latest Hot Rod magazine(the ECTA site doesn't really say yet),
Todd

I know I am late to the party here, but the ECTA site does have the schedule
and a blurb on the Hot Rod shootout and Super Streetbke shootout, including
the dates.  It has been posted there since the 2007 schedule was finalized
right after the Octobr meet.  You guys just did not look in the right place.
Try the "Events" tab on the main navigation bar on the home page.
