So if you are over 18 and fall off your motorcross bike you are not at risk of brain injury (11.b.)

I presume there are statutes about being wrapped in cotton wool (under the age of 18), only being allowed to have your teeth cleaned by a certified dental hygienist etc etc.

Presumably old age pensioners have to register their zimmer frames too.

I called Utah last week about this and was informed that if you have a pit bike that will not go over 35 miles an hour you do not need the green sticker

Utah OHV regulations don't appear to layout any exemption based on speed:
https://site.utah.gov/stateparks/wp-content/uploads/sites/13/2018/06/2018-OHV-law-booklet.pdf

The $30 fee (+$5 for online registration) is cheap insurance that you won't get hassled by local enforcement.  We've never been asked for proof of registration, but we pay the fee and move along happily knowing that we're not skirting gray areas that may be enforced differently by different officers.  I couldn't find anything int he 30 pages of code that listed a threshold speed for registration.

We use a golf cart , a friend looked up Utah code and a golf cart can be considered a Handicap vehicle , not sure where he found this info , but we have never been hassled by the fish cops .

In my experience the Rangers are looking to control the wild kids doing dumb things. We have used golf carts, ATV's, motor bikes and electric scooters and have never been bothered by the Rangers. But I have seen them chase kids and then have the vehicles removed from the area, too.

Race cars have crappy visibility, and when they're being moved around in the pits it's really difficult to see little things like go karts on the ground and little bikes and such.  Sounds like a good reason to limit the use of tiny little pit vehicles.

There's one reason they're restricted.

So... a dual sport bike like a Utah plated Honda XR650 is ok in the pits?  Will there be a pit pass extra charge or does the regular entrance fee get you into the pits?  THANK YOU!
