exporting
« on: May 07, 2019, 10:50:13 PM »
Hi, after some friendly advice.
A friend of mine shipped a bike last year from the UK to the US in 3 cardboard boxes in parts via Fedex and competed at Bonneville, and has had to leave the bike in the US. He would now like to have it shipped back, but of course there is no EPA history, no title or evidence it entered the Country.

Any great ideas on how to get it back to the UK, without incurring the wrath of Customs etc. Thanks for any advise

Pack it in 4 boxes... the extra for the trophy and send it back.... It came over as parts, it should be able to get returned as parts... He could say he sold them to an ugly American that never paid... so he got them sent back.... shit happens slow in America
