I understand Don Steegan passed away on April 29th. His maroon big block 70's Olds Omega (Nova) was a mainstay at El Mirage for many years. He resided in Seal Beach in a home his father built behind the 16th Street garage on Pacific Coast Highway he owned and ran. Don took the shop over in his later years over and it was known for its good work and honesty. Don drove the Olds tetering on 200 every month for years. I'm glad to ave known him and be a friend. He was 90.
