Anyone who might be interested how a speed machine becomes an investment piece of fine art is invited to use the link below to the read the feature article posted this morning on The Auto Channel website:
https://www.theautochannel.com/news/2019/04/26/661774-art-and-engineering-how-dan-wrights-fast-fine-art-is.html
Long-time land speed racer, USFRA webmaster and LSR volunteer Dan Wright explains not just the inspiration for his gorgeous creations, but offers up a revealing look into the complicated, sometimes grueling process. It could be said that the effort expended in crafting a scale model mimics the design and build of real racer. . . .

Jeff Gamble is also a fine sculptor who has done automotive subjects.

Reliability and performance are highly overrated.

The fine folks at the USFRA sent me a couple of what I think are Dan Wright originals. But not nearly as cool as Stainless's Wright. That one must weight 25 pounds or more. If you judge art by shear weight that one is a keeper.
