Trimmers, RidgeRunner and Wheelrdealer -- I got your orders and will mail 'em tomorrow.  Who else wants shirts?  I have lots of 'em and the site needs to convert them into $$, please.  $20 each plus about $8 for shipping ( I can cram up to four in one envelope).

Thanks.

The SCTA/BNI did the very best with what they had to work with.  It wasn't a stellar meet, but it wasn't because they didn't try.

At least they cleared the area of a large, obnoxious obstruction.  My congratulations on that one.

Here's a biased outlook at the 17 motorcycle records, which represent 68% of the 25 records set . . .

Only 3 of 17 MC records were over 100 MPH.

Over half of them (9) could have been set on the roads leading to the flats without breaking the speed limit.

A total of 6 of the 17 MC records, or 35%, were Open -- meaning they had to make two complete runs at any MPH.

I'm with you all hoping for a great World Finals this year.  I'm betting it will surpass SpeedWeek.  I applaud all the tireless workers who did the best they could at SpeedWeek and congratulate the leadership on their accomplishments.

I wonder if whoever the scta caretaker of the "large, obnoxious obstruction" is has it proudly on display in their private collection yet?

or possibly on the wall of their race shop?  (yeah, tell me you wouldn't)

In as horrible of condition as that sign is.....
I'm curious as to why anyone would want to put such a badly vandalized eyesore into a museum.
Maybe they are planning to restore it first.

I am a little slow on the uptake but I too, finally ?got it?. An apt description for both objects, especially for the one first removed.

Jack, I would like to know how you managed quotation marks on this thread? When I try, all I see are question marks.
