Received mine on 25 January.  I thought that was much later than it should have been.

AMA sent out an email on the 5th explaining that they got more requests for awards than expected and they are awaiting more medals and ribbons (which, I presume, mail out with the plates) that should arrive by the end of the month. I'm with you Chris, I'd like to enjoy the record a while before you take it away from me next year.  :-D

Actually there's 250cc pistons, jugs and head sitting on the bench. Thinking about 250 M/CG or M/CF this year. Don't think I can stay competitive in 350 M/CG with 305cc. Too many Yamahas.

Is this a new thing that the AMA will mail the award plates? In past years I received certificates suitable for framing and once I was mailed ONE 4-inch decal of a #1 plate. This past December I attended the awards banquet to be sure to get the 4 #1 plates my bike earned for 2018. BTW......the banquet event was a very nice experience.

You have to request that the plate and medal be mailed to you if you are not attending the awards banquet. I think it was around $25.

Got mine the other day. When I called AMA rep. Connie Flemming she said the response was
overwhelming from all sportsmen catagores and had to order so many more # 1 plates.
