"I tried over and over to get the pic right side up with no luck"

Just try one over, that oughta work.

"Due to damage caused by the amount of rain we received this season and the safety issues the damage poses, the lakebed will not open until May."

At the last Sidewinders meeting, Lonnie said the lake was in the worst shape he had ever seen. Huge trenches/gullies from the flow of water as I understand.

I have been watching this for awhile now (live about 35 miles away), it's not going to get any better without some human intervention.
Hopefully the powers that be talk with the George Callaway & crew, not only do they live there but they have been there a long time & have a pretty good handle on what to do.
From what I have been told is that the water level below the surface has dropped a significant amount causing these crevices to form, then the rain, true / false I dunno?
We'll see... Time is getting short. If anything is done at all my guess is it's going to be a patch job if anything at all. Guess it's in the hands of The BLM.

Seems the "closure" notice may have been an Aprils fools joke. It is now open with a caveat that crews are repairing damage.
