Attention El Mirage Racers & Spectators:
 The May Meet is Officially Cancelled. The lakebed needs a litttle more time to heal. Volunteers are welcome to help the Friends of El Mirage. Just call the Visitor's Center to confirm they are working that day and they will put you to work We will update you on the progress of the repair, but we do plan on having our June Event.

Bite your tongue on a 2 day for June. I'm glad my Duty for the May meet has now been fulfilled

From the looks of it, at least according to me and my very humble opinion, is that we've only got enough width for one course.
The erosion spread very far south onto the dry lake, it doesn't look like a small amount of work, and methinks it will require a few labor saving devices in addition to humans and beer.

   Lots of beer. 

What's the newest word on the dry lake?
