I believe they are making the KB aluminum Street blocks at this time. The difference is the sleeves are cast into the block and not replaceable.

Good Stage VI KB blocks are getting hard to find, so these might be a good alternative for you.

Good luck,

Tom G.

Rarer than hens teeth is a phrase I use. But there are still some out there. Just hoping that I can find a couple.

My problem is so much of the car was built around the 426 to change would mean so much work and nothing I have would fit a Donovan.

Nostalgia Top Fuel drag racers are using up alloy KB and alloy Donovan blocks.   Many of those guys are hoarding what they have, since new supply does not exist.

BUT, you might want to place a Parts Wanted ad in an NHRA publication.    Can't hurt, and it spreads the word you are looking.

Hope you find a "useable" one.

I am not familiar with BME except for Bill Miller Engineering who does make Aluminum Rods etc. Is he now making Aluminum water Blocks?

Thanks,

Tom G.

Hello,
We have a non-windowed KB for sale.
It is a raised cam block and the cam drive is included.
5 new spare sleeves.
1/2 inch studs.
3/4 inch Bryant crank that was just tuned-up at Marine Crank.

Did you have a chance to talk to Bill Miller about new aluminum blocks? If so what is he making or selling?

Thanks,

Tom G.

Checking on my piston order today I asked Bill about the blocks (he always answers about orders himself)

Bill said ''not a chance in Hell, I have enough problems" :-D
