Did anybody hear the speed for the Double Eagle D/DS record run?
If so, please post.

Thanks,

Strasburg lakester slowed a bit from yesterday but set record over 360, sounded awesome.

At SW I asked about that sound -- alky and some nitrous -- no pop!  The motor has the roar of a big load, that's for sure.

I just heard at the hotel that Team Vesco chose not to go to impound after their 483mph record run this morning.
I guess the explanation is that they really want a 500MPH record, and it’ll be easier to requalify on their old
463 record than the 483!  Does that make sense?

Update- was just in the elevator with a Vesco crew guy.
He said the above is NOT correct, and they did take the new 483 record.
So, as Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say: “Never mind.”
