1961 F101 parachute

New in original box. Given to me in 1975. Was going to use as a Bonneville canopy like old days. It?s a ribbon chute. Free to good home. Prefer local pick up in SoCal
as I will probably charge 1 to 2k$ in shipping and handling.
 Will send photo of box to any email. Site here says photo on my phone camera it too big.

The F101 deceleration parachute assembly was developed in late 1964 by the U.S. Air Force for deceleration of the F101 aircraft while landing. It is a circular ring slot canopy that is made up of 20 gores and 20 suspension lines.

    Diameter (nominal): 16 feet (4.8m)
    Number of Gores: 20
    Panel materials: Nylon Cloth, PIA-C-7350, Type I 2.25oz & Type II 3.5 oz
    Number of suspension lines: 20
    Suspension line material: Nylon webbing, PIA-W-5625, 225lbs (102 kg) tensile strength
    Length of suspension line: 16 ft (4.8m)
    Pilot Chute
    Shape: Cone/Vane
    Diameter: 36 inches
    Canopy Material: Nylon Cloth, MIL-C-8021, Type I 4.75oz
    Vane Material: Nylon Cloth, PIA-C-7350, Type I 2.25oz

Box has 1961 date so it may not be a 36? diameter... it appears to be much larger. JD

It said the pilot chute is 36 inches

Its been claimed with no shipping. The guy is going to use it like I hoped. At Bonneville for a pit cover...
