Didn't the Summers Bros. run pump gas in the Goldenrod, back in the 409mph days?
I might be mistaken . . .

Infidel went over 400 during an FIA meet even though it was only one way.  He is still the fastest in my opinion until someone can beat that with a one or two way average.

Fastest gas record around 356 mph?  I don't think he was still running gas when went over 400 mph in 2010.

I thought Spectre did go over 4 with the 472 inch Cad, on gas.

I think you're right about Spectre topping 400, but as I recall that was at the Shootout, rather than Speedweek, World of Speed, or World Finals.

In FIA-sanctioned meets, there are no separate classes for gas or fuel.  They're all lumped together, so there's no way of telling what they were actually using.

The fastest "gas" record currently in the rulebook for SCTA-BNI was set by Spirit of Rett (AA/GS) back in 2009 at 368.136.  Spectre still has the A/BGS record of 356.645 from 2010.

So, it looks like the bragging rights for "gas" now belong to Costella-Yacoucci-Waters with their new 384.657 record.

Rick is now the fastest at speedweek.  I am the fastest at El Mirage.  So far I have two passes on this car at speedweek, a qualifier and a return run.  I lost the water pump belt at the beginning of the back up run and melted a head.  This is a very new car with lots of untapped potential still.  I am pretty confident that when I am up and running you will see the real difference between and E motor and a B with 4 whd.

Although you may not have been the fastest gas car at Speedweek this year, you guys definitely had the koolest push truck and "transporter".
