Rick is now the fastest at speedweek.  I am the fastest at El Mirage.  So far I have two passes on this car at speedweek, a qualifier and a return run.  I lost the water pump belt at the beginning of the back up run and melted a head.  This is a very new car with lots of untapped potential still.  I am pretty confident that when I am up and running you will see the real difference between and E motor and a B with 4 whd.

Yea Ed it will be fun to see how our cars compare after we get our problems sorted. we have the power way turned down right now..
we are still in testing mode.

All I ask is if I go faster give credit when and where it is due.  This time you were claiming fastest mile on gas when your speed was still slower than mine.  Even after pointing it out on Facebook no correction was made or credit given,  not cool.  All we have at the end of the day is bragging rights.

Ed you show me where "I" made any bullshit claim and I will fix it.
Anyone who knows me knows that's not my style.
you were faster than me for one day.

You shared a post on your page that made that claim.  That is the same as you making the claim.  I replied to it and pointed it out. I just checked and it is still there at the time of this post. Perfect opportunity to make a correction or give some kudos.  You did neither and left the link on your page.  I didn't see where you made a post on the original pointing out the mistake either.  So yes for one day you could have showed some respect.  By the way did you forward that top speed award to Bob Dalton?  You don't want to start making a habit of this stuff.... Just saying.  Share the love!

Amir is regrouping after his costly battle in with K&N. You can't keep him down. He's got some new projects going and the old Infidel (Spectre) streamliner will run again. He was frustrated to not be able to mix it up this year. He still holds the A and AA/BGS Bonneville records. At the FAI race he averaged 409 on a 406 Al Teague record running on gas. He needed 410 due to the 1% rule which has since been repealed, I suspect his failure to get the record was the driving force.

Won't let me cut and paste.  Claim was originally made on White Goose Bar's page.  Your team right? Then you shared it.

Yea I see the mistake but I didn't write it nor do I fact check everything I share. so I sorry that someone made a mistake I will try and correct it. I'm just now getting around to reading the thousands of posts on facebook.

Now you digging up the Dalton fiasco shows what a classy dude you are. the trophy is sitting in a closet I told the SCTA I didn't want what I didn't earn and dalton didn't earn it because he disobeyed what he was told and the run was thrown out. the SCTA did what they had to do or else everyone would disobey. I feel bad for dalton but he screwed up and I cought a bunch of shit for it, not really cool!

So you made a mistake and I politely called you out on it. You had an opportunity to correct it  First you deny then when faced with the unavoidable facts you capitulate but I am classless for not letting you get away with it. Right.... okay I think we all know where we stand. Don’t pull shady stuff and you won’t get called on it. Honest mistakes are easily righted.

You ARE the one who took it to the board..

"I feel bad for dalton but he screwed up and I cought a bunch of Subaru for it, not really cool!"

And as You said.." Don't hold back for me" (you were talking about speed)   I didn't... lol

But that's over..

Congrats to both "gas" cars.. and the records set.

Gas is good stuff... we squirt some in to the Nitro Breathing Monster before we light it..

Now if I can just stop the belts from breaking..

Anyway...

Good Luck Guys

JD, I wasn't there either and wondered too.
I think it's kind of like (I think Neal Armstrong) telling kind of a joke about the moon. Few if anybody laughed. He shrugged his shoulders and quipped "I guess you just had to be there".

The 222 Camaro has had a lot of problems with belts over the years because of centrifugal blower manufactures design. Not enough
step up in internal gearing and having to use a small pulley on blower with a big one on crank to get blowers spinning fast enough to get decent boost. Mostly shredding but breaking sometimes. Our Pro Charger has a lot of internal step up and we can use a large pulley on top. We only lost one belt in several years
but we now tighten the crap out of the belt.

Anyhow do you think bigger pulleys top and bottom might help? Same ratio, just more teeth and diameter
