You will pass thru Scarborough on I95 in southern Maine while traveling to Loring. Just off the exit on US Route 1 is Fredrick Brothers They are a full service VP fuel dealer the phone number is 207-883-2551 and here is a link to their web site www.frederickbrosoil.com/vp-racing-fuels They even have VP 110 at the pump!

Here is another full line VP fuel dealer in mid state Maine: "Urquhart's Machine & Fuel Sales" Butch Urquhart is the owner and is a veteran drag racer and engine builder and is very knowledgeable about the fuels he sells. I just bought a can of C9 from him and it was very reasonably priced and he offered a lot of input. He has in stock over 30 different blends of VP fuels. Many of the popular ones are also in 55 gallon drums with pumps that you can fill your own containers (at a discounted price) He is located just off of I395 in Brewer, Maine (across the river from Bangor) and has a loop drive way for trailers to turn around easily. His office hours are only 5 to 6pm on Monday thru Friday and 8 to 1pm on Saturday, but he works nearby and said that he could likely meet you there at other times if you give him a call. Here is the contact info: Bruce Urquhart of Urquhart's machine & Fuel Sales located at 8 Glidden Lane in Brewer, ME 04412. His cell phone is 207-735-6092 and the shop number is 207-989-3837. I finally moved up to C9 race fuel this year, hopefully it will be a good match for my 1980 Suzuki GS 750! I'll see everyone this week at Loring!!!

Our local vendor was out of stock for our last min request for the blend we use so called the number above the day before we got underway and verified they had it.  Stopped in the next morning and picked it up on our way with minimal travel time lost.

Thanks for the tip, it worked out very well for us.

Just wanted to bump this up to the top of the list in case anyone is looking for VP fuel on the way to Loring. Just bought a pail of C9 from Butch at Urquharts Machine and Fuel, he is working there in his machine shop all day today! I'll see everyone on Wednesday morning!
