Here are a few pics - you can see for yourself how good the salt is.

New signage for Impound/Warnerville:

Here's a view of the pits - today.

I guess my post disappeared, but I was saying that Danny Thompson's car is here, Les Leggitt is reported to be on the way with the Beast, Jason Poteet is going to drive the Blowfish, the Speed Demon will be showing off the new E motor, and on and on.   Lotsa fast vehicles are gonna be here.

Slim:

Aren't you going to treat us to a picture of the Potentate sitting on his throne?

What a fine idea, Jeff, but I think the challenge of getting the lighting right might be too much for me.  Thanks anyway.  How about pictures of Nancy, and Joe Timney and me?

Joe told me the story about the Vesco #444 car getting some major changes - including a new number.  It's here and maybe Joe will show up in the announce trailer later this week to tell us about the changes (he did lots of them in his new shop in Florida).  The 111 car - the Turbinator - will be here, too.

And at supper at the Metro - the Salt Flats Cafe - we coulda got done way sooner but we had to stop every few seconds to howdy somebody.  Geez, all the good ones (people, that is) were there.  And then there's the food.  We paid thirteen dollars for these skimpy little platefuls. . .

What! You are taking your beautiful brand new truck onto the salt? Don't you like it? Why are you trying to destroy it before it hits 1 year old? Oh I get it, you are just on a demo ride from the dealer....

Don, as part of the deal for the new truck I got the salesman to agree to detail/valet the truck - inside and out!- each time we return from Bville.  We'll see. . .

Well, it sure looks like the 444!  Is that it, or is it another clone?
