HotRod trophy? This is for out right top speed of the meet? I have a couple people arguing about it and need to shut both of them up.

That streamliner b/bgs record that the new car just ran on is no longer 308 I made it 369 earlier in the week!

Thanks a lot to Slim and Ron for great coverage of Speed Week 2018, and to all the people who made the event possible.  Hope to make it in person in 2019.  Everyone have a safe trip home.

Jon, Ron, I cannot thank you enough for the awesome coverage of speedweek! I have not raced since 8/2000 and miss it terribly. Listening to your broadcast is the next thing to being there and you have been loud and clear all week. Thanks again!

Yes, Thank you for the broadcast. Being stuck here it is very helpful. Flashpoint blew a tire about at the three. And that took off the body panel.

Jon, after setting a record (return run) you must go directly to impound.

After the qualifying run you can stop at pits?

I will add, go directly to impound after getting your timing slip, you will have to stop once to get the timing slip.

Being there for 4 of the days and also listening to Ron and Slim's broadcast, I'm sure they could tell you that they needed better info from both the tower and starting line to make it a better broadcast. They wanted to give us better info but they didn't have it to give.

I hope next year they get info direct from the starting line when a car leaves so we even in the pits can become better spectators. Ron was at the starting line for yrs and could see at least 2 courses and could keep us all informed and got readout of their speeds. This year it seemed like there were speed read outs and then they had to lookup the car # to see who it was.

I feel record run mornings were the best even tho they sometimes didn't get all 4 courses qualifiers they got us the info as soon as they could... I'm glad they were there and thank them for doing their part of a great week.
