I thought I heard Danny went home. Got what he wanted.

Danny accomplished all his desired goals and dreams at Bonneville -- and hopefully he just loads it into the trailer and puts the streamliner in the museum.  Nothing wrong in doing that.  Somebody might break his record soon or decades from now.  Doesn't matter.  It won't take away what he has accomplished and for himself personally.  One heck of a story and final closing chapter for a great family legacy at Bonneville!

I completely understand, was just curious .  I met Danny in 2013 when I was shooting pics at speedweek for Bangshift.com, super nice guy. Wishing i was there!

Congrats to Dave Spangler, drive of the Turbinator who just laid down a 463 run with a blistering 470 exit speed - which means there be more in that the speed machine.

Whoo Yeah! Dave!

Could there be a new name on the Hot Rod Magazine Top Time Trophy in 2018?

I may be wrong but...from what I understand the Speed Demon is running on its own record.

B/BFS 416pmh

This was set at Speed Week in 2016.

There 452 mph 1st run today REALLY set the bar high today.  If the back it up...awesome!

Their 452 mph exit is just shy of Danny's 459mph.

This is almost better than reality!!!!!

That's at least four cars (Challenger 2, Carbiliner, Speed Demon, and Turbinator II) which have run over 400MPH in the same meet.

Has that ever happened before?
