"Run For Your Life"
« on: June 21, 2018, 09:52:54 PM »
This was a mid- 60s TV show starring Ben Gazzara. The show's opening & closing sequence was a Bonneville run down the single black line used back then. I wonder whose car was used to film it and what the speed was?

Wish I knew. I remember watching that show as a kid, and dreaming about Bonneville....

Me too. Maybe that's what started my interest in LSR.

It reminds me of scenes from "The Lively Set" movie (Doug McClure, turbine powered streamliner). But I'm sure there were many similar scenes filmed.

You have to hand it to the guy, he did it single-handedly.

I think all TV music back then used bongos. How many of us still have theirs from the 50's?
