A week ago from Rose on Facebook Glen.

"I’m here with Freud today. He’s doing okay, he’d really like to get out of rehab and go home but his body has not recovered to that point. We’re hoping to transfer him to a care home in the near future."

This was on Facebook night-before-last.  Look carefully - he's not asleep any more than the cat is.

I'll never argue with the healing power a pet can bring to the table.

When you're stuck in bed, a warm, fuzzy cat, willing to just be there and be petted - there's a therapeutic value in that well beyond the powers of modern medicine.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

From Glenn's Facebook page, April 8:

Quote
Hello friends 💕

This is Rose Freeman, Freud’s granddaughter. My PaPa and I were looking at pictures of the Girls tonight and this [old picture of Glenn's cats - 4bM] showed up in his Facebook memories from a few years ago! I wanted to share it again.

He is still here at the Everett Genesis rehab facility and we’re beginning the process to transition him to a smaller adult family home in the near future. His short term memory has improved lately and he’s enjoyed visits with family and friends. Thank you for your thoughts and notes! Freud loves hearing from all of you!

Pop, I feel I let you down. We got ill at about the sametime and unfortunately I was fighting my own demons at the time.
I'm really sorry. I wish you a speedy and full recovery. God Bless and from now on you'll hear from me regularly.

This is Rose's reply to the same query by John Noonan yesterday Glen.

"I’ll do an update soon John J Noonan! He is very much the same - not able to walk, feed himself, get out of bed alone. He is in good spirits most of the time and loves company. His mind is as sharp as ever and he remembers so many stories to tell. He is still at the rehab facility but we hope to have him moved to a long term care home in the next couple weeks. Thank you for asking, I’ll update more often even if it’s the same thing."

Had a nice talk with Freud's son today. His condition is still pretty bad. Has to depend on a lot of help for everything. Doris has a lot of help at the house to take care of her. Please say a prayer for both of them and a full recovery for Glenn. This is very hard for him. He does have some better days and can talk but the phone is a little difficult for him.  we say a prayer for him daily. Sure miss what he does for LSR   and his great photos.

Thanks for the update Glen.
We all miss him.

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

If you want to send a card or something - think about what Nancy and I have done lotsa times.  We'll find a left-over old Christmas (photo) card taken out at the salt and send it to (whomever).  Easy for the recipient to remember who you are and easy to enjoy yet another pic from the salt.
