Transport from Wisconsin?
« on: December 17, 2017, 01:39:02 AM »
Anyone making the haul to either SoCal or Utah from the Milwaukee area any time in the near-ish future?

Ha no although I really like Chris's car - not sure I'd fit in it.  The roof on my F100 is rusting out and I found a cherry one in Milwaukee.

Okay, Nate, riddle me this . . .

How the hell do you end up with a top rusting?  :? :? :?

With Fords, it's supposed to be the rockers and fenders that go to shit!

Chris, Chris -- you know as well as I do that Nathan lives in a rainforest area where there are always soggy leaves nestled on the rooftops.

I know, shocking surprise but sure enough, roof gutter rust is very common on this generation (67-72) of truck. The following generation didn't have the same problem- probably because they did away with the gutters.

No rusty bottoms in SoCal. That's a Midwest thing.... or so I hear.
