Do I have to be an AMA member to run at the BMST ? Do they still have the open class ?

Yes you do have to have a current AMA membership. It is an AMA event.
I am not sure what you mean by open class. There is an "unlimited Class" for electric vehicles and a class for 3000cc +  gas motors. Or do you mean the "Run What you Brung"? There is no classifications for that part of the event.

Thank you. I like that jacket you are wearing.  Sportster or Buell rider ? Thank you again. I would have had a motorcycle at the BMST this past event but someone that actually races there every year told me that there wasn't going to be a "Run Watchya Brung class this year or anymore ? Because that was going to be my have fun first, event, than maybe get serious. So, they ran the RWB class this year ?

Morning Unforgiven.
Yes, there was absolutely a RWB class this year. Don't listen to your mate next time, contact the organisers instead  :-D
Have fun getting ready for 2018!

Just a little 06 stock sportster ? Gonna try to have it ready for 1000cc P-PP. If not, that is why I was happy about the "Run Watchya Brung" event. I have been a card carrying "Hooligan" since 1976, but, I saw other Hooligans running at the event, so...I guess it is okay to join the AMA now. I build some wicked fast stock looking sportsters.

Thanks Dan...Hell I didn't have a bike ready, (I would have) but I could have ridden the Whizzer so I could have at least road on the salt. I should have checked myself. No wrong, no blame.
