Dynamic compression etc. from IVC, static CR
« on: December 22, 2022, 01:56:42 PM »
I wrote an Excel spreadsheet that inputs # of cylinders, bore, stroke, rod length, IVC, static CR, atmospheric pressure, and ratio of variable heats between 1.2 and 1.4.
Returns effective displacement, effective stroke (inches and %), DCR, approximate torque at low speed, CCP psi (gauge and absolute).

Please tell us more about "variable heats".  Thank you in advance.

A factor for the thermal efficiency of the engine (heat loss, % burned). Low value: crude, 1.4 perfect.
